The other day I released the blue version of Pokémod.
But it just racks Diva HPF module for ZebraHZ.
So it’s useless for all ZebraHZ users. I apologize to it.
Now it’s fixed. In blue version, Diva module is colored blue, too.
Trial for Zebra HZ Has Come
Now the “Crystal” version is used as the trial.
It’s because that I want ZebraHZ users to try the skin before they buy it.
Only Crystal version supports Zebra HZ, therefore, I had to choose it as trial.
Now ZebraHZ users are also able to check compatibility.
Let’s try!!

Top!
Outstanding work!
Any news on the paypal option ?
Thanks!
This morning I got the letter from paypal and got a premier account!
Soon the paypal payment will be available.
i have still not received my link for the zebra patches and skin i paid for with paypal ?
I’m sorry, I sent the link just now.
There was a silent error on my email client and I thought that I had sent.
Thank you for your contact.
Hi a Paypal option is welcome but I’m concerned about the the fact that the popup window doesn’t not show the full Paypal address (it doesn’t have any address bar) – that is not reassuring. Even worse when you try and click through it expects you to agree to this “Preapprove future payments made from your PayPal account.” No way am I going to do that, you would have to be crazy to agree to such a thing.
Hi Stephen,
Given your comment, I myself tried that and felt the same.
I searched and found that this is Gumroad’s policy.
I posted the new article about this issue and details are there.
Thanks for your feedback.
is there a planed fix for the windows version, tested it in multiple DAWs on windows 7 and it crashes in reaper, bitwig and live.
Hi,
I looked into it and found that only the trial version crashes.
Maybe because the script was a bit older than those of commercial versions.
I updated the trial version.
Please try it again, It wouldn’t crash anymore, I hope.
thanks for the update yuta,
I just tested it in reaper and it works fine now, will test it in bitwig and live later some time,
also you should add your skins for Zebra and Tyrell N6 to the u-he Device Skins page which can be found below so more people get to see your design, just email u-he
http://www.u-he.com/PatchLib/skins.html
Thanks!
I’ll do that when its stability seems to be ensured.
hi Plugmon
so did u success collect your payment via paypal? how it works?
can i know how step by step
i am confuse too how to collect my money via paypal in Gumroad..
Best Regards
Tika
Thanks for the update,
Could you number the updates in future so we know what version is released ,compared to what version we have. e.g. v1.1,v1.2 etc
There’s a thread on KVRaudio about your skin, you should come over and introduce yourself, you will get feedback on your design.
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=441805
You’re right, I should have numbered. I’ll do that from next update.
And thanks for the link!
Good to see you will be adding numbers to future version & looking forward to the redesign of the VCF Mod2.
Hi, very nice work… but how can I update teh CRYSTAL skin?
Go to Purchase Now button, there’s a login button on the top right, you need to login with your email and password for Gumroad,if you haven’t set up your Gumroad password yet it should ask you to do it,then that will bring you to the download section, that’s where the update is
Thanks I88,
I’ll write the instruction…
hey! i already bought your skin, but i don`t know how to get the update now? OR: where is the button to buy the Crystal skin?
A bank of over 400 presets, a collaboration between Hans Zimmer and Howard Scarr. Practically all Zebra sounds in the The Dark Knight as well as The Dark Knight Rises soundtracks are included, plus several more that didn’t quite fit into the scores.
Thanks a lot for sharing!

Saved as a favorite, І like your web site!
If you take away the bottom pane, could you please put a large view of the oscillators on the oscillators pane? I need a large sized oscillator window for editing.
Of-course I did!! 🙂
You can enlarge OSC editor by toggling the button in the right of the OSC display.
Hi Yuta, I’m sorry to hear that you are having piracy issues. When I first saw your theme and realized that it was part of a sound pack, I was expecting to pay $50 (which I would have gladly done). Your theme is so well organized that I feel it makes Zebra more accessible to me. In any case, when I realized that you were only charging $14.99, I purchased it immediately!
Now that I see Rudy, I’m really excited for it’s release. I’m saddened by the fact that it is delayed due to piracy, but I understand your need to protect all of your efforts.
Until then, I’m excited to play with Crystal and Vintage!
Thanks Mark,
I’ll find the best way for all of us.
Yuta, I know just how you feel. I’ve found my stuff on pirate sites too and it’s a terrible, terrible feeling. I wasted a day writing to the file sharing sites and asking them to remove it. I’m also in the soundware business and there seems to be no way to lock most skin and sound formats, certainly not in Zebra. Even with copy protection they’ll usually find a way around it.
I’d advise you to raise your price. I think it increases perceived value and makes people less likely to upload if they bought it with their own money.
If you haven’t already, you should contact the U-he guys and offer to create a Zebra 2 skin for them on contract. Maybe even Zebra 3. Your GUI work is superb and a pleasure to use, not to mention the great sounds.
Hi,
I take your advice. I haven’t contacted U-he guys, but the Ruby version makes me think it’s worth doing so. Thank you.
Thank you so much Yuta for this Diva “Flataholic” Skin! This blog is really useful! I already love the previous skin you made for Diva which replaced the original for me!
I just purchased a few weeks ago your Zebra2/ZebraHZ “Pokemod” set… It’s just the most passionate work done I’ve ever seen done for such an incredible plugin like Zebra, it not only already really improved my learning of this synth, it also really re-invigorated my workflow…
I just wanted to say, You definitely should share & use the “Vi Control Forum”- (Commercial Announcements Section) to sell your work, lots of “u-he” fans there… You truly deserve all the best, keep striving, you have all my encouragements & support!
-Alexandre-
Hi Alex,
I didn’t know Vi Control Forum. When the new skin is released, I’m gonna join it. Thanks!
I was hoping for the new zebra ruby skin you told us about… I don’t own Diva but i’m sure owners will enjoy it…
What about the ruby skin for zebra? It looks tremendous !
The new skin is extreme close to the release!!
Now I’m making the new intro page and a demo movie. Also I’m considering the price and the new name to be given…Any way it won’t be long.
Is there a special update price for former pokemod owners?
Are you talking about the Zebra skin? Yes it’s a FREE UPDATE for the existing user. The product itself is now replaced with the new skin. Just re-download the content and you’ll be able to update.
Been trying to learn Zebra on and off for the last five years. When DIVA came out I gave up as DIVA had a GUI I clicked with. Since adding Plugmon Massive to Zebra HZ I’ve spent a full week straight learning nearly everything in Zebra It’s just like using DIVA but with more modules to add in. The thought process feels so straight forward and fun. Looking forward to the wider version that looks like a proper hardware modular synth. Thanks for the work and passion.
I like the idea of icons, but duo and poly seems close enough to me that I’m able to confuse it.
Hi! Now it’ll never go confusing!! Yeah
I love these skins so much! I had just a couple questions. Is the latest update supposed to contain all of these new features? http://plugmon.jp/future-updates/. I don’t see the new reverb or changes to the voice circuit / top bar.
Also, when I load a D-HCF in ZebraHZ, nothing comes up and there is nowhere to edit the HPF. Thanks!!!
Hi, not all the features has been brought yet.
D-HPFs and VCA comps are hidden by default and can be activated by the button in the HZ module.
It’s explained in the demo movie, but I should have written this in the user guide as well.
Thanks for the feedback.
i love your work…
you have made zebra amazing
Hey plugmon.
Got all of your stuff and love your skins and soundsets.
Can’t seem to download Iceage anywhere, I would be happy to buy it.
Also I own Zebra2 HZ so please send me some links and if it’s free at least let me donate via PayPal.
Thanks
diaper@ky from KVR
Iceage is a part of the Massive Modular bundle. You can download it in a same product page on Gumroad.
So it’s….free for existing customers. I rapidly built the donation button in the sidebar. hopefully it will work. I really appreciate your offer. Thanks.
I have see your wonderful work you have done for Diva,us are interested to have a new skin about http://www.audiorealism.se about ABL 3 ,please ,I hope you accept my proposal and I can give you a free copy of our plugin.
Let me know if you can be interested. Thanks in advance Gianfranco
Hi,
Thanks for your offer. I’d be glad to!!
Please can you send me the details via the contact form? I want to know what style of skins you guys need.
http://plugmon.jp/#contact
Hi I’m unable to find the updated Musik Fabrik. skin in Gumroad
Hi,
Do you have any plans regarding the new Zebra update and the new modules?
Alex
Good to know. Thanks
Very nice! Any news on a Bazille Skin?
Is there a pack to get all your skins?
There’s no bundle available.
Hi,
Did you make any progress with Tokyo Ghost?
Regards,
Alex.
I just got the Aiko Diva skin. Everything is great, except the cutoff rings. It’s really hard to select a specific ring – especially the middle one!
I’m afraid you’re trying to drag the ring itself.
They’re just indicators and, what you should drag is the mod src text area.
See the gif on the overview page.
http://plugmon.org/aiko/
Nice work on AIKO! It took me 5 min with the demo to decide to buy it. BTW I noticed a spelling error, UNIPOLER should be UNIPOLAR.
Thanks for purchasing, and finding my error!!
“dinosaur” and “unipolar” always trouble me.
Actually its already fixed in the full version ; )
Oh, that’s kinda relief. Anyway I’ve got to update the demo version. Thanks!
Please post an update about the Bazille skin
when bazzile skin with ghost skin is out?
I love the tokyo ghost bazille skin ? when will it be finished and available to buy ??
Please could you give us an update on a release date for your Bazille skin. Really looking forward to this as the AIKO Diva skin has really made using DIVA much more of a pleasure. Many thanks.
Hi, I wrote an article about this. Please read it.
https://plugmon.org/were-opening-our-web-shop/
Thanks for the info Yuta. Really looking forward to the Bazille skin. I would recommend the AIKO Diva skin to anyone who likes to program Diva but perhaps finds the original interface a bit cumbersome. You could really do with a donate option on your site as well Yuta. I would love to be able to donate a small amount every so often just to say “Thanks” for all your hard work.
I appreciate your recommending! and glad to hear about donation.
But rather than donation, I’d like to earn by selling my products. So instead of donating, I hope you’ll have a look at our future products and get them if you like!
Congratulations!
By the way do you have any plans for Hive?
Regards,
Alex
Hi! I’m interested in recent wavetable function going on around Hive. I feel like making one but no real plan yet.
If I do, it’ll be more wavetable-intended design like Massive or Serum, not a “Sylenth killer”.
dude, you are amazing
😎😎
The man is right 🙂
Hey Yuta.
I’d like to make one small request for MM. While i prefer the look of it many ways, i sort of miss the distictive look of each module from Pokemod, in particular the different colours of each. MM seems a little too much of the same grey making it harder to distinguish modules at a quick glance. Any chance you could maybe add a bit more colour or shade variety, kinda like how the fx rack is currently?
Shaun
Mmmmm…. Though I personally like color distinctions, it seems that the major opinion is “unified coloring is good”. Not a solid research but that is my impression.
A good news is that in the *next* skin I’m currently working on, modules are going to be colored (a bit) differently!
You’re the best designer in the world and you know, and with this skin seems i’ve bought another synth, thanks
buy it, enjoy it, it’s a great enhancement in every aspect !
—
ps and thank you for the great Bonus Patches – very useful !!
As a preface I should say, I bought another Diva skin before this one. A very popular one, albeit not for me. It was very attractive and added some nice things to Diva but I felt it ultimately made me work a bit slower because I was already so adjusted to Diva’s default layout.
I don’t encounter this sort of issue with Aiko. It looks and behaves very much like the default Diva skin, but it adds some very nice workflow enhancements and puts more of the interface where I can immediately see and use it. The change to the modulation system is absolutely for me, and the XY pads are a teriffic touch. This sounds like some fluffy marketing platitude, but it’s kind of more than a skin.
This skin is beautiful and so intuitive. Tempted to purchase, but I’m mainly using Zebra HZ. Any plans for an HZ skin? I’ll gladly pay the full price!
Many people asked me for ZebraHZ support so its priority is high. Now that bugs are (hopefully) removed, I’m gonna work on it soon. But I’m still wondering what layout would be best(like mentioned above.)
I’d also grab the Neuman once it supports ZebraHZ. The Massive-like mod system would be amazing!
It’s 80% done! It will be awesome😎
Will it be a separate product or a version of the regular theme?
It’s gonna be added in the current theme and those who have already bought Neumann can get it with no extra charge.
Hello Yuta,
I know history tend to prove that most humans are not honest.
Maybe I’m a naive person, but I sincerley believe that even the worst thieves have remorse.
And remorse may force them, one day or another, to pay you for the stolen things they’ve used illegally.
You must see the positive side of what happened: if it hadn’t be leaked, most of the people who came here on that Monday, December 7, 2015 will even not be aware of your beautiful creations, and would never have used your skins anyway if they should have paid for them, because the vast majority of those people are kids, and kids doesn’t have enough money for such “accessory” things.
But who know if someday, among these kids, a few will make money from the pirated software they used? And that day, maybe remorse will push them to honor their debt…
Good luck, and thank you so much for your wonderful free Tyrell skin.
Thanks Buddy,
yes, now I take it positive. Once illegal contents are deleted, it becomes just an advertisement. And those who got cracked one might be fan of my contents in future!
Thanks for the update. That ACE skin looks very good already, I like a lot the direction you’re taking.
Works perfecty, will test Aiko as well
It is really awesome! My Diva looks like its a new generation synth now. One of your best works IMHO.
Your ACE skin is sooo amazing!!! Can’t wait to buy this one!
I’ve been waiting for this!!! You have literally revived my ace. Thank you so much!
YUTA!!!!
I absolutely love what your doing for ACE.. The light version would be god like
Its amazing what this skin has done for ACE. Not just in visual but in workflow, a game changer indeed. I salute you!
Hello!
Great work!
I’m looking to change the color of the 9000j ssl Plugin from Plugin Alliance.
I want the color of Michael Brauer Ssl which is kind of pink 😀
But I don’t know how to make the color realistic when working with the background.png
Do you have any tips or a tutorial? Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Per Einar
With this skin I have finally found an analog synth that satisfies my needs. Congratulations on a GUI design that turns DIVA into a true musical playground. Victor
yeah nice
Amazing Skin Design for DIVA. It’s by far my favorite Softsynth, but the original GUI looked really dated and for me personally not fun to work with. The Plugmon Skins works issue free so far and finally also made it visually one of the best synths in my arsenal!
Yes. Absolutely. Worth every penny.
Skin: Top notch… Its realy great… but… the presets: wtf is going on they are even better!!! I mean i have like thousends of presets for Diva but like 99% of them don’t even come close to the ones of this site…
Realy good deal, worth the money.
I love it.
fab
Fab skin, just beyond good. The gloomy negative look (Callas criminally forgotten in her Paris attic) has vanished and Diva has had her long-overdue facelift. This is a spectacular achievement by one of the most gifted graphic artists working in interface-land.
Diva now looks futuristic as well as retro, the best softsynth ever is swanning around in the most glamorous livery imaginable. The new mod source boxes, the cool borrowings from Massive X, the excellent presets bundled with the skin, I could go on and on.
Yes, I had a few issues on MAC OS Catalina, but Yuta got right on the case and quickly sent me a beta which is now stable.
U-he should add this skin to Diva 2, I’ve written ’em to say so and they seem open to the idea. (No surprise!)
I absolutely love this skin. I found the old one pleasing to look at but difficult to navigate. The effects and LFOs are now in a layout that I’m more familiar with and make Diva less of a mystery. Worth the money. Presets were a great bonus.
Amazing UI and very beautiful. I don’t want to use Diva without it
Love the theme. It makes Diva way more fun to tweak in my opinion. My only complain is that the preset browser does not support tags. Hopefully this gets added soon.
That trailer video was incredibly well done! Any chance we could listen to the individual songs?
Thanks! I put a lot of time into this video. I just made small tracks and stitched them so there’s no “full song” for each ヽ(;▽;)ノ
Amazing skin, works like a charm. Makes modulation clear and easy to use.
Your works are so amazing!! Animoog clone skin for serum, please!!!
Best skin for DIVA hands down, only gripe and the reason I removed 1 star is because u cant seem to use the SEARCH function unlike the original U-He Diva GUI.
Plugmon deserves more reviews. You should buy all of his stuff so we get regular updates. This Serum skin is dope i really love it. One thing people should never neglected is that a good skin can invite to sounddesign while a bad skin don’t… and we all want to be invite to a sound design journey!!! Thanks Plugmon this is brilliant <3
This is my favorite DIVA skin for a while now. It invite me to sound design while the default skin don’t really. Although i still keep the tasty red at the bottom. Thanks a lot Plugmon as well as the patches ! this is really appreciated 😉
Yes i agree with lavmort this skin revived my ACE and the wish to do sound design again! thanks this a very dope skin i love it in every way <3
Every Serum user should have this pack and it include LISA what the hell it’s a steal at that price (i don’t complain thanks) Now i have dope analog wavetable !!! and there sound so nice ! thanks for that best wavetable pack i bought in years ! Thanks Plugmon 😉
I love this Bazille skin, it has a way more clear design. It lets you use Bazille as a effective virtual analog modular system. Clear recommendation! Amazing work was done here! Thank you Plugmon!
A lot of work and love has been put into this set of wavetables and presets for Hive. I’m always surprised how varied the presets of this pack are, those can be used for many different music genres.
Definitely a worthwhile purchase!
Plugmon makes such beautiful and practical GUIs, and I love everything he designs. He clearly has a deep understanding of UX, and LISA is another testament to his ability and talent. It may not be as drastic to the point workflow changes as with his u-he themes, but it still has excellent visibility and a sleek, 3D feel that makes the plugin feel modern, intuitive, and more pleasing to use. Hope to see more!
This is a really fun collection of analog synth goodness for Hive – it makes my Hive sound more like a DIVA! It won’t replace good analog modelling synths, but it adds more analog-ness to Hive. The presets are quite good too and the templates are handy. I did a video review with a couple of demo tracks at: https://youtu.be/nU2Lvzx_P-0 I really enjoy this collection. Nice work, Plugmon!
I love your work… thank you so much mate.
Most beautiful and still practical serum skin I used so far. Truly love it! <3
Perfection.
Quality Work like usual 🙂 The skin really helps to get a better, full overview of the synth state while also simplifying the UI, e.g. by the smart modulation system.
I usually force myself into liking the Default skin of any synth, because I try to judge the sound rather than the looks. But man, I really fell in love with Diva with this skin. Great work Plugmon!
Give Diva a modern feel to craft sound. I’m so satisfy!!!
Excellent work!!
Easy install and within seconds, creating new presets, definitely revitalising my love of Diva and taking to new heights – very highly recommended!
Absolutely essential skin for Zebra2 & HZ. This skin will greatly speed up your workflow with its information dense interface, yet straight forward layout. Only problem I have with it, is the oscillator controls are now a little hidden. It’s a small price to pay though, because in all other skins, most of the other things are hidden in so many pointless panels.
The best-sounding plug-in synths now have the best look and feel of all plug-in synths. Thank you Plugmon. I love your work.
This is the UI that Dive should have had, and improved my mental model of its capabilities. Here’s a few things that made a big difference for me:
1. Moving the ‘drop down’ selects in the sections to tabs made me more likely to try other modes. The tabs are an easier way to see the tree-like structure of each panel.
2. the color-rings around the knobs give you way more visual feedback about what is being affected. The massive modulation system is quite an improvement.
3. The theme, being physically larger takes more advantage of modern monitors, showing more at once
I’ve already started using this on some new sounds on tracks on my soundcloud, and for me its been a masterclass in effective synth ui design. I don’t think I can go back to the previous skin after using this.
A great refresh to the classic Diva Synthesizer by U-HE. This totally modernizes the Diva Interface. Must Have.
I use ZebraHZ for about 10 years. I love the U-He product. But this skin does not only change the colors but also the layout. Sometimes this can be a bad thing, but this one is done perfectly! The workflow is much faster now and it feels like working with a new synthesizer. Zebra 3 is coming but this will always be my go to with this skin. No regrets of puchasing this to support the creator and improve the plugin so a lot.
U-he is a kingpin for digital synth quality. Unfortunately, their GUIs leave something to be desired. MONA completely fixes this for Diva, making it as user-friendly as Sylenth1 or Serum.
This is more than facelift update for Diva. For example the preset browser of Diva is already good but Mona goes to the next level by including preset info with adjustments.
Inspiring and quality wavetables and presets.
The workflow with this skin is a huge improvement overall. More clean, more intuitive and fresh looking.
There are “skins”, and then there are “total transformations”. MONA is very much the latter — going beyond cosmetics to add improved functionality. I enjoyed AIKO years ago, but MONA outshines it in a number of respects, featuring a purposefully skeuomorphic, elegant layout that has me smiling when I’m diving in to the many Diva patches I have.
I like how the osc sections are structured, model selection is a one-click direct path, and other repetitive steps are folded into one. Even if you’re just browsing/tweaking sounds rather than creating them from scratch, this benefits your immediacy — in particular, the streamlined patch browser layout and being able to do PRESET adjustments right from there in a mini-display is so rewarding!
The sheer thoughtfulness of design AND cross-applying things from Hive is something U-he should seriously consider to bring Yuta Yoshimatsu’s PLUGMON magic aboard to their factory user interfaces.
If you play Diva and don’t have MONA, you’re missing out, big time. 🙌⏰
Hello …love my new Diva Skin Mona…is possibly a new update version with U he Original Logos and all Black skin?
thank in advance
It does have the original logo inside GUI, in PLAY view (where the keyboard and wheels resides) so there’s no chance that the left-top logo also becomes the original one.
The current one is already kind of a dark skin so even darker one is not likely to happen. If there’s something to come, it would be a light version or red version, just like AIKO.
MONA is absolutely brilliant and it’s refreshing to use. Very easy on the eyes, especially for long sound design sessions. Some of the parameters in the default DIVA GUI are quite tiny, even when the interface is enlarged. MONA is a huge improvement over the original and it eliminates excessive guesswork, most importantly if you come back to work on a patch the next day and need to pick up where you left off, this new GUI saves time. The trimmers tab is much more pleasant to look at, and it displays current settings in a much more immediate fashion. I rarely, if ever write reviews, but Plugmon’s efforts towards this GUI are simply too good to not acknowledge. Excellent work.
Exactly what Diva needed, a UI that’s straightforward, easy to understand and playable out of the box. I had Diva for a while and couldn’t wrap my head around it, but with this skin, I can understand its functionality almost immediately.
I like the sound of Hive 2, but find the layout to be quite cluttered. Eclipse is more structured and logically laid out. The theme colors are also delightfully easy on the eyes and provide for a “luxurious” touch. I can now start making my own sounds in Hive 2, and not just use the preset browser. 5/5.
Amazing work! The layout changes modify the panels and their arrangement to look more like a traditional modular synthesizer, which is much more familiar for me. The clarity of everything is so helpful for production, and the ghost mode that hides cables is wonderful if you just want to tweak what’s already there without making or removing any connections. If there was one thing I could suggest, it would be a dark mode that dims all of the white panels. For any Bazille owner that’s into eurorack modular, I think this skin is a must-have.
This is fantastic, the default Diva skin is not very good. I don’t see why we have to be stuck with ancient interfaces just because this is modeling analogue sounds. GUI design has improved a lot and this is not a hardware synth, why be limited by the graphical restrictions of hardware?
Mona solves a lot of that, it makes the modulation sources and amounts much easier to read. Things are laid out clearly, after only a few hours playing with this I can say it’s already so much better and easier to work with than the default skin. definitely recommended!
Just wanted to say- you are awesome for posting this update. Especially when you have a product you sell that is a “competitor” to this same skin. Much respect!
I have tried many skins, including the others from Plugmon, because I really didn’t like the original skin. In my opinion, this skin is the best of them all. It’s much more streamlined and Hive is therefore much more fun to use; it invites you to experiment and be creative. The design is also less tiring on the eyes. I only understood some of Hive’s functions thanks to this skin. It simply has the best usability. It’s like having a new synth. I hope it will also be supported in the future.
My wish list: Unused effects are hidden, and sorted according to the chain, like the latest Izmo Dark skin. The purple graphs could be a bit brighter, like the orange ones; overall all graphs could have the same brightness level. The drag’n’drop modulations could be a little more hidden so that they don’t clutter the middle section.
