Still working on “Zebra Another View” skin.
In fact, it has taken me 4 months or more.

Something’s done and it once seems perfect, but soon after, I feel like something is wrong. Something could be better.

I change colors, change shadows, change text sizes…
I believe it’s getting better, on the other hand I think no one cares about these slight defferences.

Then an image of “perfection curve” comes to my mind.

perfection curve

I imagine this curve all the times.

At first, it gets better in proportion to the time you spend on.
But when it gets around 90% perfection, suddenly it goes slow and it turns its phase to hard and painful work to go on.

Wander around, try something and discard it, even more, it sometimes gets worse! You have to decide the best point to finish editing.

It is the very same as mixing and mastering. Too much work might result in a worse sound.

But anyhow I can’t stop.

Ohayo. I'm a Japanese graphic and sound designer. I love u-he products and speak u-he's theming language as fluently as any man.
